Donna May Woodling
Donna May Woodling, 85, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 5:10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at her residence.
She was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., where she was a homemaker and worked for many years taking care of children. She attended high school in Tipton County, Ind., was a member of S.A.C. Red Hat Society, a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle in Claypool, Ind.; and was very active at the Senior Activity Center.
She was born on July 13, 1927 in Howard County, Ind., to Virgil Otto Smith and Dorotha May (Bentley) Smith. She was married in 1947 to John J. Reed, who passed away in August 1961. She then was re-married in November 1964 to Kenneth Duane “Bing” Woodling, who passed away in August 1977.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons: Dana Reed, Delphos, Ohio; Mark (Cynthia) Reed, Warsaw; three daughters: Gayle (David) Woodling, Warsaw; Nancy Reed, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Amy (Bill) Smith, Baytown, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; five brothers: Richard Smith, Rochester, Ind.; Bill (Amy) Smith, Baytown, Texas; Clarence (Shirley) Smith, Smithville, Tenn.; Dean Smith, Frankfort, Ohio; Keith (Sandy) Smith, Warsaw; five sisters: Eileen Warren, Granger, Ind.; Maxine Hepburn, Warsaw; June Ann Senff, Mentone, Ind.; Beverly (Frank) Tackett, South Whitley, Ind.; and Ruth Timreck, Warsaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one daughter, one grandson, two brothers, and an infant brother and sister.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw. Her funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Bob Brown and Pastor Richard Campbell. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
