Chautauqua-Wawasee is offering the perfect combination with their Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Experience that will be held 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31, at the newly opened Oakwood Resort in Syracuse.

This unforgettable event will feature The Fort Wayne Philharmonic’s Harrison String Quintet, playing everything from Bach to rock.

Wines, cheeses and chocolates will be provided by, Belmont Beverages / Chalet Party Shop, Goshen; unique artisan cheeses from the Cheesemanstore, Auburn; certified organic cheeses from Swissland Cheese in Berne; gourmet chocolates from DeBrand Chocolates, Fort Wayne; handmade chocolates from Naomi’s Candies, Milford; specialty chocolate concoctions from Sweet Tooth Saloon, Syracuse; and scrumptious appetizers from Grill-N-Grate BBQ, Syracuse.

On Saturday, June 1, Chautauqua-Wawasee will host the first “Hope Floats” Cardboard Boat Regatta and more boats are needed. Supplies needed to make a life-size cardboard boat include cardboard, duct tape, polyurethane paint and imagination. The event is open to families, businesses, organizations and provides a great weekend project or team-building exercise. Additionally, all boat entries receive two tickets to the Wine, Cheese & Chocolate experience. Boat regatta will provide entertainment to spectators on and off the water.
