Dog With Mouth Taped Shut On The Mend
MICHIGAN CITY — Chance Christmas — the pit bull — is getting ready to start physical and water therapy.
A home has already been lined up for him once he’s fully recovered.
The puppy was found in the back yard of a home last month. His mouth was taped shut and he had two broken hips.
A dog rescue group is taking care of Chance’s bills.
Animal abuse charges have been filed against the owner, 50-year-old Richard Cope. Police are still looking for him.
