Carolyn K. Ritchison, 76, Warsaw, died at 4:03 p.m. Saturday, June 24, 2017, while surrounded by her family in her Warsaw home.

Carolyn was born Sept. 16, 1940 in Plymouth to James O. and Henrette G. (Wagner) Troxel. She was a 1958 graduate of Bourbon High School. She lived her life in the Warsaw and Plymouth areas.

After 31 years of employment as secretary for Warsaw Trucking she would retire and then continue in the work force for another 18 years with Goodwill Industries. Carolyn belonged to the Warsaw Moose Lodge.

Survivors include her son: Tad Ritchison of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; daughter-in-law: Lesa Ritchison, Warsaw; five grandchildren: Lauren Ritchison, Murfreesboro; Riley Ritchison, Warsaw; Cody Ritchison of Fort Bragg, N.C.; Madison Ritchison and Jared Ritchison of Shelbyville; great granddaughter: Brilee Ritchison, Warsaw; sister: Julaine Craig of Converse; and brother: Richard Troxel of Bremen.

Loved ones who have passed before Carolyn are son: Tod Ritchison on April 25, 2008; sister: Helen L. Finger, Nov. 12, 2008; five brothers: Merlin Troxel, Dec. 23, 2008; James Troxel, Dec. 9, 2006; Donald Troxel, Jan. 7, 1974; Lamar Troxel and Robert Troxel.

Friends will gather from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Tuesday, June 27 at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan Street, Warsaw. A service celebrating Carolyn’s life will begin at 1 p.m.in the funeral home with Pastor David Hummel officiating. Burial will take place in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.

The family has asked that gifts in Carolyn’s memory be directed to K-21 Health Foundation – Cancer Care Fund, PO Box 1810, Warsaw, IN 46581-1810.
