KCH Medical Staff Establishes Scholarship Fund At Community Foundation
WARSAW — Kosciusko Community Hospital physicians Dr. Todd Dillon and Dr. William Remington recently presented a $50,000 donation to Kosciusko County Community Foundation, on behalf of the medical staff at KCH for the creation of the KCH Medical Staff Scholarship Fund.
The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships to students to pursue a two-year, four-year or graduate degree in a medical field of study that involves direct patient care. Applicants should be graduating seniors or currently enrolled college students from Kosciusko County, must maintain at least a B grade point average, and should demonstrate community engagement through volunteerism, employment or extracurricular activities.
“As a collaborative team, the KCH medical staff discussed the importance of supporting local individuals who are interested in committing their lives to serving others through a medical profession,” said Dr. Todd Dillon, KCH medical staff treasurer. “We are establishing a scholarship at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation to encourage individuals to pursue their dreams that will make a big difference in society. We can give scholarship recipients our collective ongoing support.”
