Indiana State Police Employees Receive Service Awards

PERU — Indiana State Police recently recognized four ISP employees for their continued service to the community during an ISP meeting at the Peru Post.
The personnel highlights were announced by First Sergeant Mike Tomson, assistant district commander of the Indiana State Police Peru Post,
Master Trooper Detective Michelle Jumper, Miami County, was recognized for 25 years of service. Master Trooper Matt Rogers, Howard County; and Sergeant Tony Slocum, Fulton County, were each recognized for 20 years of service.
Jumper and Rogers were also recognized for 500,000 safe driving miles. Senior Trooper Todd Trottier was awarded a mileage pin for 350,000 safe drive miles.
Indiana State troopers drive their police cars approximately 40,000 miles per year. They are recognized for safe driving starting at 50,000 miles. ISP employees are recognized for years of service every five years.
