Alicia Jean Miller
Alicia Jean Miller, 64, Pierceton, passed away on Friday, Aug. 28, 2020, in her residence. Alicia was born July 1, 1956, in Warsaw, to Denvil and Mary (Meade) Yates. She was united in marriage to Melvin Miller Jr. in Packerton, on Nov. 9, 1974, who passed Feb. 28, 2010.
She graduated from Mentone High School. She was an active member of Victory Rock Church, Pierceton.
Alicia is survived by her loving family including, daughter, Cherity (Garland) Cain of Warsaw; son, Jeremy (Christine) Miller of Pierceton; siblings, Kate Amburgy of Rochester, Arthur Yates of Palestine; Carolyn Shepherd of Warsaw. In addition, she is survived by three grandsons, Tarren J. Prater of Claypool, Trevor J. Prater of Warsaw, Hunter Miller of Pierceton; one granddaughter, Elizabeth A. Miller of Pierceton, and one great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by husband Melvin Miller Jr; sister, Charlene Wagomen.

A visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Victory Rock Church, Pierceton (6134 S. 500 E. Warsaw, IN). A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 3, at the church with Pastors William Whitaker and Charles Trout officiating. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, Indiana.
All arrangements for the family have been entrusted to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw.
