Lisa Toth

Lisa J. Toth, 57, Cromwell, passed away at 7:39 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born on Oct. 4, 1962, in Portland to Joseph & Shirley (Edgar) Collins.

She graduated in 1981 from Jay County High School and attended Rudae’s School of Beauty Culture in Fort Wayne. She was married on Aug. 25, 1990, in Portland to Derek L. Toth, who survives. She grew up in Portland and moved to the Syracuse / Cromwell area 28 years ago.

She formerly attended the Collett Church of the Nazarene in Portland.

She is survived by two sons: Jacob (Tiffany) Toth, Syracuse and Mason Toth, Warsaw; three grandchildren; a sister,  Ellen (Junior) Coats, Portland; three brothers: Mike (Penny) Collins, Salamonie; Jim Collins, Longmont, Colo.; and Jeff (Nancy) Collins, Leesburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Collins.

Visitation will be from 3 – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse.  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2020, in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N St. Rd. 15, Warsaw. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
