Karen Sue Vanover — UPDATED
Karen Sue Vanover, 68, Pierceton, passed away at 6:54 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 2021, at Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw. She was born April 17, 1952, in Warsaw, to Aldon B. and Dona Jean (Whetstone) Scott.
She attended Warsaw High School and was a lifetime Warsaw and Pierceton area resident. She was married to Ron Keith Vanover who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, retired from Mason Healthcare & Rehab in Warsaw after 10 years and formerly worked at Maple Leaf Farms in Milford.
She is survived by three daughters: Kelly (Vanover) McKinzie of Indianapolis; Kathy Vanover of Warsaw; and Melissa (Tim) Trueblood of Nappanee; son, Brandon Vanover of Pierceton; four grandchildren: Kaylen, Amaya, Andrea, and Skylar; great-granddaughter, Addison; sister, Peggy Timbers of Cocoa Beach, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. A private celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
