Lisa McKee

Lisa McKee, 61, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.

Born Aug. 25, 1959, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of Robert and Della  Miller. She attended John Glenn High School, Walkerton graduating with the class of 1977.

On Sept. 6, 1980, she married Brian McKee in Plymouth. Lisa was a waitress for years working for Balloon Wurks and Bob Evans. She loved to cook and hosting parties for her family and friends. Lisa and Brian would often take trips with their best friends Dorothy and Raven. They enjoyed going to the casino, especially trips to Las Vegas, and the occasional shopping trip for clothes and shoes. She loved Christmas and was referred to as the “Queen of Christmas” to all that knew her. Lisa was also known as the “cat lady” having seven fur babies.

She is survived by her husband Brian McKee of Plymouth; brother Brent (Faith) Miller of LaPorte; brother-in-law, Joe (Shelly) McKee of Plymouth; sister-in-law, Peggy McKee of Plymouth; best friends: Dorothy Alderman of Goshen; Raven (Mike) Renfrow of Plymouth; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Kurt.

Per the wishes of the family there will be no services.
