Addilyn Kubley
Addilyn Paige Kubley, 6, Warsaw, died as a result of her battle with cancer at 4:29 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born Dec. 9, 2015, in Warsaw, to Nicole Danielle (Hamby) and Randy Owen Kubley Jr. and greeted her parents with so much joy. She was able to leave this world with her parents at her side, with a mixture of sadness and blessed reassurance that she is whole again and safe in the arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Addilyn spent her entire life surrounded with love from her family and friends. She would have started the first grade this year at Harrison Elementary School, Warsaw, where she would have shared her personality and smile with so many others. She was a beautiful little girl with the biggest heart ever. She was always happy, very spunky and definitely a girly-girl who loved to dress up and go shopping but also enjoyed playing in the mud, go four-wheeling and fishing with her dad. She loved it when her mom did her hair and made her look even more beautiful. Addilyn was always up to something and could bring a smile to anyone’s face simply by watching her have so much fun when she was dancing and doing her gymnastics. She enjoyed swimming, loved every kind of animal she saw and simply adored her big brother, Blake.
Addilyn was very strong and remained tough throughout her illness, but God had other plans for her. Her big brown eyes, her laughter, hugs and kisses will be dearly missed by her parents and family. She was a wonderful daughter, sister and granddaughter, and though she was not long for this world, she left a huge footprint on the hearts of those who loved her.
She will forever be lovingly remembered by her parents, Randy and Nicole, Warsaw; and her brother, Blake, Warsaw. Also surviving are her maternal grandparents, Donnie and Derinda Hamby, Pierceton; and maternal great-grandparents, Betty Berkey, Warsaw and Ed and Arley David, Florida.
Addilyn’s life will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, 2022, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, and officiated by Pastor Hedgel Perry. Friends and family may visit prior to the service from 8-10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with a private family graveside service.
Memorial donations may be directed to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45229, in Addilyn’s memory.
