Franklin Robert Dush and Sophia Marie Katsaropoulos have been officially
named the valedictorian and salutatorian of the Wawasee High School Class of 2012.

Dush is the son of Leland and Mary Dush, Milford. Katsaropoulos is the
daughter of Stella Zondervan and John and Becky Katsaropoulos, Syracuse.

Both students will present the commencement address on June 9, during the 10:30 a.m. commencement ceremony at Wawasee High School.

Dush plans to attend Indiana University where he will major in finance, entrepreneurship and corporate innovation. He is involved in Distributive Education Clubs of America, Chess Club,  a member of the Academic Hall of Fame, National Honor Society, Knights of Columbus and is an acolyte and lector at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church. He was an Indiana Economics Challenge contestant.

Katsaropoulos also plan to attend Indiana University. She will major in
nursing. She is president of the student representative council, vice
president of the Thespian Society and is involved in theatre.

Katsaropoulos is a member of the Academic Hall of Fame and National Honor Society.
