Mantis Skate Park, 400 Little League Drive in Waraw, will offer several free skate clinics in the month of May.  Clinics are scheduled for May 4, 8, 16, 22, and 29 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the skate park.  These clinics are geared towards elementary-aged children who are interested in learning basic skills on a skate board, including balancing, pushing, and open riding.  Skaters may be introduced to small ramps, depending on skill progression.  Helmets are required and can be borrowed from the park.  Elbow and knee pads are also available to use.  Skaters should bring a skate board to the clinic.  No registration is required, and skaters may attend more than one clinic date.  For more information, visit Mantis Skate Park during operating hours, call (574) 372-9554 ext. 224, or email [email protected].
