H. Diane “Diddy” Gast, 78, Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 6:54 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne, Ind.

On Jan. 18, 1934, she was born in Warsaw, to Wes and Helen (Hatfield) Hay. She lived most of her life in Warsaw and was a homemaker. She married Dan K. Gast on May 4, 1955 in Warsaw, who survives.

Diane is survived by her husband: Dan K. Gast, Warsaw; three children: Stephanie D. Gast, Indianapolis; Anthony A. Gast, Portland, Ore.; and Stacey (Howard) Cox, Plainfield; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

There are no services and visitation planned. Burial will be at a later date.
