Ray Douglas Conley
Ray Douglas Conley, 76, of Silver Lake, Ind., passed away at 6:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at his residence.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1935, in Bonanza, Ky., to John Benjamin Conley and Lona (Baldridge) Conley. He was married in Wabash, Ind., on Aug. 6, 1956, to Ginger Ette Hall, who survives.
Ray has been a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 75 years, and was a 1953 Graduate of Silver Lake High School, Silver Lake, Ind. He farmed and worked at Zimmer Inc. of Warsaw for 35 years retiring in 1992 as a Lathe Department Supervisor. He continued to farm until his passing. Ray loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife: Ginger Ette Conley, Silver Lake; two sons: Tony (Karen) Conley, Silver Lake; Mark (Jodi) Conley, both of Silver Lake; and two daughters: Sherry (Chad) Rapp, Mentone, Ind.; Jill (Darren) Bradford, Silver Lake; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother: John (Marceil) Conley, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Lawrence Aaron Conley, and one sister: Mary Lucille Hackworth.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, June 1, at Redpath- Fruth Funeral Home, Warsaw.
His funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home of Warsaw. Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Silver Lake, Ind.
