Beaman Home will host its 20th Annual Golf Scramble on Monday, June 4, at South Shore Golf Course in Syracuse. This year’s event includes a lot of special activities for the nearly 120 golfers who have registered to play.

From 10 a.m. to noon, 107.3 FM WRSW Lake City Rock will be broadcasting live. Their appearance is underwritten by Lake City Bank and Lakeside Chevrolet.

The golfers will enjoy lunch, catered by Bib’s Backyard BBQ, and cake by Betty’s Cake & Candy Shop before heading out to play 18 holes on South Shore’s beautiful course.

Lakeside Chevrolet is offering the winner of The Hole-in-One Competition a brand new 2013 Chevy Malibu. New this year, is an Impossible Putt Competition, which tests a golfer’s long-putt skills.

Awards will also be given to the first, second, and third place teams, as well as to the individuals with the best score (men and women) and longest drive (men and women).

All proceeds from the event benefit Beaman Home’s Emergency Shelter and Outreach Programs.
