According to a just released Indiana State Police report, Kosciusko County earned the No. 3 spot in the state last year for the largest number of methamphetamine labs seized.

The report found that there were a total of 41 meth labs in Kosciusko County in 2011. Elkhart County is ranked second in the state where authorities seized 71 labs, but it was beat only by Vanderburgh County where 72 labs were seized.

Also rounding out the report with area rankings are Marshall County, which tied for the No. 9 spot with Howard County, with 41 labs each, and Noble and Allen counties which both tied for 10th highest number of meth labs.
