Helen M. Rassi, 93, of Milford, Ind., passed away on June 21, 2012, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Milford.

Helen was born on Sept. 15, 1918, in Warsaw to Walter and Eva (Mortimore) Kehler. She married Robert Rassi in 1941; he preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 2002.

Helen was a graduate of Leesburg High School and was a member of Milford First Brethren Church where she served in many areas and the WMS Society and was a volunteer at Goshen Hospital for several years. Helen liked reading, playing scrabble and working in her flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Mrs. Rassi is survived by her children: Barrie (Judy) Rassi, Peru, Ind.; Carol (Harout) Kouyoumdjian, Columbia City, Ind.; Beverly (Jerry) Leiter, Milford; John (Diane) Rassi, Syracuse; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Robert; and an infant brother: Richard.

Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 25, at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford. Services will follow at 3:30 p.m., Monday in the funeral home with Pastor Larry Stafford officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery.
