Firecrackers Blamed In Two Milford Fires
The first call was at 4:27 p.m. Friday, at 202 Turkey Creek Drive, when neighbors heard the sound of firecrackers then spotted a fire in the yard owned by Joanna A. Stinehour. Firefighters were called to 948 Beer Road, at 12:05 p.m. Saturday, where firecrackers were said to have again started a
grass fire.
The fire department was called at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday to the area of CR 175E, south of CR 1300N when a fire was spotted along the roadside. It is believed that possibly a lit cigarette was tossed from a passing motorist that ignited that fire.
