Local Author Coming To Milford Library

Teens:
Teen Craft Day is Tuesday, July 10. It beings at 2 p.m. in the library meeting room. Miss Tina will demonstrate how to make glow-in-the-dark slime! Bring all your friends. Sign up begins July 2 at the adult circulation desk. Everyone will take home their own slime! Teens always enjoy snacks and time to socialize with friends.
Thriller practice for Teens will take place in the library meeting room at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5. Come learn the dance, create your own amazing costume, funky hair and zombie make-up and be a part of the ghoulish fun!
Preschool Story Time:
Evening preschool story time with Miss Tina will feature books and stories with the theme, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Be there at 7 p.m July 12. Miss Tina will read, Oh, the places you’ll go, by Dr. Seuss, as well as other stories about growing up. Make a hat to take home and enjoy a delicious snack.
Friday Preschool Story Time with Miss Dorothy will be at 11 a.m. July 13 in the library meeting room. Come join Miss Dorothy as she repeats the theme, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Listen to Michael Berenstain’s story, When I grow up Oh, the things I can be! and other stories. Sign up today.
Special Event:
On July 11, a water slide will be on the lawn next door to the library from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Children up to grade five can use the water slide from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Grades six through 12 can use the water slide from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wear your bathing suit and sunscreen. Other items you should bring are water to drink and a towel to dry off.
Knitting Clubs:
Evening Knitting Club will meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 12 in the library meeting room. Bring your own supplies. This is for all ages. If you are unable to attend on Thursday evening, there will be another knitting class on Friday, July 13 from 1:30 pm. to 3:30 pm.
Summer Adventure Begins at the Library
