Reports Surface Of Hacked Bank Accounts
StaceyPageOnline.com is receiving reports that numerous employees of local businesses are finding their bank accounts have been hacked.
According to the reports, accounts at Teachers Credit Union, Lake City Bank and Mutual Federal banks are among the hardest hit where many customers are claiming someone fraudulently used their accounts to purchase airline tickets and iPads. Warsaw Police Department Det. Steve Adang says he has not received nor seen any filed reports pertaining to the alleged hackings, but encourages everyone who has been victimized to report the thefts right away.
Residents residing in Warsaw should report the suspicious banking activity to the Warsaw Police Department at 574-372-9515. Residents residing outside of the city limits should notify the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department at 574-267-5667.
