During this week’s First Friday event in downtown Warsaw, KCV Cycling Club will be offering free valet bicycle parking as part of the community’s Ride + Walk Warsaw + Winona Lake Bicycle and Pedestrian Friendly Community initiative.

From 5 p.m. to  9:30 p.m., people are encouraged to ride their bicycles downtown to enjoy the evening’s festivities. Not only will bicycling alleviate congestion and parking concerns, it provides a little healthy exercise.

The club’s hope is that they will begin to see more support and buy-in for programs like this which will also show the increased desire and need for more bike paths, bike routes and bike lanes in the downtown area and city limits.
