Armed Robbery at Warsaw CVS
At approximately 4:10 a.m this morning, Warsaw Police say two masked men entered the Warsaw CVS Pharmacy at 100 N. Detroit St., and displayed handguns and terrorized three employees.
According to police, the suspects forced two female employees to the pharmacy area and had them lay on the floor. A male pharmacist was then ordered to open the safe before also being told to lay on the floor. The suspects then took an undisclosed amount of medications. The employees watched the suspects head to the front door, but could not get out, so they left out a side emergency exit.
Warsaw Police responded to CVS and had a police K9 attempt to track the suspects. A track went north along the railroad tracks but was lost near the parking lot south of the Salvation Army on Arthur Street.
One suspect is described as a white male approximately 20 to 30 years of age. He was wearing dark clothing and a full face red plastic Spider Man mask with red tightening straps and surgical gloves.
The second suspect is also described as a white male, approximately 20 to 30 years of age. He was wearing a tan safari type hat or possible straw hat, a blue bandanna covering his face, sunglasses and surgical type gloves. Warsaw Police Detectives are currently working with CVS to get additional information.
