Metzger Trucking of Silver Lake recently donated $5,000 to Kosciusko Lakes & Streams so it can continue efforts to protect the waters in Kosciusko County.

In the photo, Micah Metzger, at right, of Metzger Trucking, presents Anna Burke and Nate Bosch of Grace College’s KLAS program, with the check. The money was raised during the Wild Goose Chase Adventure Race.

The Wild Goose Chase is an annual event sponsored by Metzger Trucking and combines running/orienteering, water activities, biking and surprise events. It begins at Warsaw’s Bixler Park and is part of the  Northern Indiana Lakes Festival.
