Fair Offers Free Events With Admission
Livestock shows and grandstand acts aren’t the only entertainment planned for the Kosciusko County Community Fair this week. Between circuses, talent shows and science exhibits, there is plenty of free entertainment to be found on the fairgrounds.
Zerbini Family Circus will be putting on daily shows at 8:30 p.m. starting July 10. On July 11-13 there will be an additional performance at 4:30 p.m. On July 10 and 14, there will be two additional performances — one at 2:30 p.m. and one at 5:30 p.m. All shows will take place on the midway.
There will also be a Hat Trick Petting Zoo set up in the Event Center daily beginning at 9 a.m. The exhibit, open daily, will feature small and friendly farm animals to pet and feed.
Debra Collier’s School of Dance will perform at noon July 10, in the Event Center. Starting at 2 p.m. the same day, the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo will set up in the same location. Also in the Event Center July 10 will be Science Central, an exhibit with hands-on science education for guests of all ages. The exhibit will be set up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Live entertainment is planned for Senior Day July 11, but specific acts have not yet been announced.
Chris Cage, a Willie 103.5 disc jockey, will lead a karaoke event at 7:30 p.m. July 13, in the event center. Those interested in competing can register at 7 p.m. Spectators can sit back and listen for future stars.
Magic shows on July 14 will conclude the free entertainment options. There will be two performances at the Event Center: 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. For more information on free entertainment options, contact the Kosciusko County Community Fair office at (574) 269-1823.
