Bulls To Play Pacers At ND
The Chicago Bulls have announced plans to play their final preseason game prior to the start of the 2012 NBA season at the University of Notre Dame.
The Bulls will meet the Indiana Pacers in the exhibition game on Friday, Oct. 26. The contest will tip-off at 7 p.m. in the Purcell Pavillion in South Bend.
The Pacers roster will include former Warsaw Community High School standout Miles Plumlee. The 6-11 forward/center from Duke was the Pacers’ first round draft pick in the NBA draft in June. Plumlee, a Warsaw native, was the 26th overall pick in the Draft. He just finished playing for the Pacers in the NBA Summer League team in Orlando, where he earned first-team all-league honors after averaging 13 points and seven rebounds per game in their five games.
Tickets for the Bulls-Pacers preseason game will go on sale Sept. 11. Tickets can be purchased by going to www.und.com/tickets, at the Notre Dame ticket office or by calling (574) 631-7356.
The Bulls last played an exhibition game at Notre Dame in 1995 when they faced Seattle.
