Richard E. ‘Dick’ Nabinger
Richard E. “Dick” Nabinger, 76, of Leesburg, Ind., and formerly of Pierceton, Ind., passed away at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, in his residence.
He was born June 3, 1936, in Windsor, N.Y., to Leland E. and Beulah (Beebe) Nabinger. He was self- employed and operated Mobile Farm Service specializing in mechanical repair of farm implements and agricultural related machinery. In particular, he restored collectible machinery serving clients from all over the United States.
On April 3, 1976, he was united in marriage to Alice Walls, who survives. He was a Kosciusko County resident since 1965. He was an honorary member of the American Legion.
Mr. Nabinger are survived by his daughters: Carol Bushaw, New York; Deana (David) Phelps, Tennessee; Barbara (Mike) Venett, New York; Cathy (William) Madden, New York; and Jenni (Nick), New York; sons: Jeffery (Crystal) Nabinger, Florida; Leland (Penny) Nabinger, New York; Dusty (Mellisa), Indiana; and Trent (Nicole) Nabinger, Indiana; one brother and eight sisters; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by a son-in-law: Stephen Bushaw; one brother; one sister and his parents.
Calling will be from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. Chaplain Joe Stark will officiate the service. Interment services will be private.
