Milford Public Library Events
Summer Reading Club is drawing to a close!. The last day for prizes will be on Aug. 4. The Milford Public Library hopes you have enjoyed all that the library has to offer your family, fun programs, new books and a place to Dream Big and READ!
Teens:
You MUST have 50 hours read and paperwork turned in by 6 p.m. on Friday, July 27, to participate in the Zombiepalooza. The Lock-in will be from 9 p.m. on Aug. 2, to 8 a.m. on Aug. 3. Parents of teens wanting to attend the lock-in must speak to the director and sign a permission form before their teen can participate.
An insurance form also needs to be filled out. The Zombie video, Prom Night at Zombie High, will be shown during the lock-in along with several other zombie movies, games and activities. This is one “dead” party you don’t want to miss!!
Special Event:
Don’t forget the Summer Reading Program Grand Finale picnic will be at noon Aug. 1 at the Waubee Lake Pavilion. Bring your ticket and receive a sandwich, chips and a drink. Stay for fun games and frolic with the library staff as we wrap up what was a successful summer reading program. Bring your bathing suit and take a swim. All swimmers must have adult supervision. Summer fun is the greatest!
Scrapbooking:
The library Scrapbooking Club will be meeting at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 6. This group meets every month on the first Monday. Please bring your supplies and ideas and come scrapbook with friends!
