Governor Set to Swear in Chief Justice
Indiana Supreme Court Justice Brent Dickson will be officially sworn in by Governor Mitch Daniels today.
Dickson, who has been serving as acting chief justice since the retirement of Justice Randall Shepherd in March, was selected to lead the state’s highest court in May by the Indiana Judicial Nominating Commission.
Daniels will be giving remarks during the investiture of Dickson in the North Atrium of the Statehouse, as well as during the groundbreaking ceremony for the Indiana University Neuroscience Research Building in Indianapolis.
