Police Continue Drug Arrests
Warsaw Police received information yesterday alleging subjects involved in the use of methamphetamine and prescription medication.
Upon investigation, Warsaw Police Department Narcotics investigators observed a female leaving 519 W. Winona Ave., Apt. C., Warsaw and made contact with her. She was identified as Jaclyne Messer, who was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and Schedule II prescription drugs.
Additionally, contact was made with the occupant of 519 W. Winona Ave. Consent to search was provided to investigators where a firearm as well as several items of drug paraphernalia were located.
Messer, also known as Jaclyne Jean Hossler and Jaclyne Skeens, 27, 503 Center St., Warsaw, was booked into the Kosciusko County Jail for dealing methamphetamine, a class B felony. The case will be reviewed by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. Further arrests are likely by Warsaw Police.
In another case early this morning, police were called to Walmart regarding a shoplifting incident. Michael C. Crum, 30, 12634 S. 200 W., Silver Lake, was arrested for theft/shoplifting and transported to the Kosciusko County Jail.
Warsaw City Police officers were first dispatched to Walmart early this morning regarding a shoplifting incident. Crum was located and found to also have an outstanding warrant through Wabash County for an unknown offense.
During the inventory of Crum’s vehicle, officers located several precursors associated with methamphetamine production. It was also determined during the investigation that there was possibly more meth related items at his residence.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputies and Drug Task Force officers were contacted and converged at Crum’s residence. Kosciusko County DTF officers immediately located meth precursors outside the home and obtained a search warrant.
Inside, DTF officers found more precursors as well as a “one pot” meth lab and several HCL generators. The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office has preliminarily charge him with felony manufacturing methamphetamine with the possibility of an additional pending charge of dealing methamphetamine.
Crum is currently being held without bond in the Kosciusko County Jail on the two charges stemming from Kosciusko County and a hold from Wabash County.
