Darlene (Hickman) Krocker, 74, of North Webster, Ind., passed away on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at Masons Health Care in Warsaw, Ind.

She was born on Jan. 15, 1938, in Syracuse, Ind., to E. Dale and Jane (Myers) Hickman. She was married to Donnie Krocker who preceded her in death in 2009.

She was a homemaker and also worked for CVS Pharmacy. She was a member of the North Webster Church of God and lived most of her life in the North Webster area, having also resided in Fort Wayne for several years.

Darlene is survived by her daughter: Shelly (Martindale) McDonald, North Webster, Ind.; her son:  William Martindale Jr., Florida; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother: Jerry Hickman, Fort Wayne; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother: Jack Hickman; a sister: Shirley Grisamer; and a nephew: Joe Hickman.

Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Eastlund Funeral Home, Syracuse.  Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Baughman officiating. Interment will follow at the Salem Cemetery in Wilmot, Ind.
