ISP Note Enforcement Results
On Friday and Saturday night, Sept. 14-15, between 7 p.m. and 4 a.m., the Indiana State Police conducted a statewide enforcement campaign targeting impaired and dangerous drivers. Troopers throughout the state arrested 346 impaired drivers, issued 4,105 traffic tickets, 6,646 written warnings and made 360 arrests for various criminal offenses.
Locally, troopers from the Bremen Post – which serves Kosciusko County – issued 236 tickets and 200 warnings over the weekend. They made 21 impaired driving arrests, removed 19 suspended drivers from the roadways and made 6 criminal arrests.
Toll Road troopers wrote 335 citations and 669 warnings. They made 24 impaired driving arrests, citied 29 suspended drivers and made 8 criminal arrests.
