Kari R. Edwards, 52, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012, at the home of her mother and stepfather in Syracuse.

She was born on Jan. 13, 1960, in Denver, Colo., to Thomas L. and Beverly K. (Alexander) Koble.

She graduated in 1978 from Wheat Ridge High School in Wheat Ridge, Colo., and was married on Oct. 28, 1978, in Denver to James H. “Jim” Edwards who survives. She moved to Syracuse in 1984 from Denver and was employed at Crossroads Bank for 13 years. She was a member of the Crossroads Community Church in Goshen, Ind.

She is survived by her husband: Jim Edwards, Syracuse; a daughter: Kristine (Zach) Marshall, Milford, Ind.; a son: Brent (Cathryn) Edwards, Syracuse; a grandson: Ethan Grant Edwards; her mother and step-father: Beverly and Barry Lintz, Syracuse; three brothers: Todd (Deanna) Koble, Syracuse; Brooks (Mary) Koble, Milford; and Matt (Dina) Koble, Nappanee, Ind.; a step-brother: T.J. (Christine) Lintz, Boston, Mass.

She was preceded in death by her father: Thomas L. Koble.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, at Crossroads Community Church, 57415 Alpha Dr. Goshen, Ind. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 24, in the church with Pastor Marc Royer officiating. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Memorial bequest may be given to Crossroads Community Church, 57415 Alpha Dr. Goshen, IN 46528. Envelopes will be available at the church.
