Five different players scored goals for Plymouth as it took care of Wawasee, 5-2, at home Thursday.
Kara Morwood, Kayden Fosler, Alyssa Clyde, Megan Maxwell and Courtney Hersick all found the back of the net for the Lady Pilgrims while Natalie Jones and Lexy Blunk each scored for the Lady Warriors, which dropped to 3-8-1 overall and 0-3 in the Northern Lakes Conference.
NorthWood Trumps Wawasee Again
NorthWood completed the football sweep over Wawasee, winning the freshman game, 34-6, Thursday night in Syracuse.
Sam Clark had 80 yards rushing and threw the only touchdown pass Wawasee (1-4) had, which was hauled in by Zac McKee.
“We just keep shooting ourselves in the foot with turnovers and penalties,” Wawasee freshman coach Brent Berkeypile said. “We were a bit a little by the injury bug, so players are going to have to step up this coming week and play well.”
