Jason Allen Coy
Jason Allen Coy, 31, of Syracuse, Ind., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at his home.
He was born on Nov. 2, 1980, in Warsaw, Ind., to Allen L. and Sheryl A. (Ogburn) Coy.
He is a lifetime Syracuse area resident and graduated in 1999 from Wawasee High School in Syracuse. He was employed at National Products in Syracuse and was formerly employed at Sleepy Owl in Syracuse, Dewart Lake Inn in Syracuse and Homecrest Cabinetry in Goshen.
He formerly attended the North Webster Church of God and was a member of the Indiana University Chapter of Delta Upsilon Fraternity.
He is survived by his parents: Allen and Sherri Coy, Syracuse; three sisters: Heather (Adam) Lovely, Noblesville, Ind.; Chelsea Coy, Syracuse; and Jenna Coy, Syracuse; a brother: Jaxon Coy, Syracuse; his maternal grandmother and step- grandfather: Joan and Charles Baker, Warsaw; a step-grandmother: Pam Ogburn, Orlando, Fla.; a step-grandfather: Rudy Mills, Anderson, Ind.; his companion: Teri Lentner, Portage, Ind.; and a step-son: Shane Pullins
He was preceded in death by a sister: Amanda Coy.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Judy officiating. Private family burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery.
