A Warsaw man was killed Thursday evening in a crash near Akron in Fulton County.

Thomas Witmer, 39, died when the driver of an SUV pulled into the path of his motorcycle. It happened at approximately 5 p.m. on SR 19 at Division Road.

According to Fulton County police, Arrisa Grossman, 52, of Akron, was turning left from Division Road onto SR 19 and pulled out in front of Witmer, who was southbound on SR 19. Witmer died at the scene from blunt force head trauma.

Grossman was ticketed for failure to yield.
