Heartline Hosting Walk For Life 2012
Heartline Pregnancy Center invites the community to participate in its annual Walk for Life event on Saturday, Oct. 13. The walk begins at the Beyer Family Farm Trail next to the Health Services Pavilion on Provident Drive, Warsaw.
The Walk for Life is sponsored by Heartline Pregnancy Center and benefits the local pregnancy center, which was established in 1985 and is a pro-life organization serving the greater Warsaw community.
Registration for the event is free and all participants are encouraged to raise money for the walk. Those who raise $300 or more will receive a complimentary event T-shirt.
Registration can be done online at www.heartlinepregnancycenter.org, or at the event on Saturday. Registration will begin that morning at 9 a.m. with the Walk for Life starting at 10 a.m.
“This is our fourth annual Walk for Life and every year we continue to have increased participation,” said Angie Wood, executive director of Heartline. “With the help of the local community, the funds raised allow Heartline to continue meeting the needs of woman and babies in our county experiencing an unplanned pregnancy.”
