The Great American Beer Festival awarded 234 medals to the best commercial brews and breweries in the country. The honors were handed out on Oct. 13 in Denver, Colo.

Among the winners is the Mad Anthony Brewing Company, which has locations in Fort Wayne, Auburn and Warsaw. In total, Indiana breweries claimed seven medals at this year’s festival.

Mad Anthony Brewing Company took home the gold in the Fruit Wheat Beer category with their Ruby Raspberry Wheat Ale. The ale is described as a light, English pale ale, infused with raspberries, and has a 4.7 percent ABV.
