Applications are being accepted by any registered Democrat in good standing residing in VanBuren Township to fill the vacancy on that township’s advisory board.

The Democrat party will hold a caucus election at 10 a.m. Oct. 27, in the Milford Town Clerk’s office, Main Street, Milford. The vacancy was created by the resignation of Bill Troup on July 28, due to other involvement in community interests. However, Democrat officials were not made aware of his resignation until the letter was officially filed in with the clerk of Kosciusko County Circuit Court on Sept. 28.

Applications, in writing, must be received by Oct. 24 by Kosciusko County Democrat Chairman Terry Bartley. Applications should be mailed to The Kosciusko County Democrats, 417 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, IN 46580, Attn: Terry Bartley.
