Community Conversation At Grace College
Grace College will co-host a community conversation, “Competing for the Future,” from 8 a.m. to noon tomorrow in the Orthopaedic Capital Center, Winona Lake. This session’s topic is “The role of community in building world-class talent.”
The series is part of the Community Conversations program, organized and facilitated by Indiana Humanities and the Bowen Center for Public Affairs at Ball State University.
Gerry Dick, creator and host of Inside INdiana Business, will emcee the event which will feature many big names, including:
- Aaron Renn. Known as the “Urbanophile,” Renn, a native of Laconia, Ind., is an opinion leading urban affairs analyst entrepreneur, speaker, and writer. More information about his work can be found at www.urbanophile.com
- Aron Starosta, venture capitalist and funding expert.
- Jim Walker. Founder of Big Car in Indianapolis, Walker is also a Warsaw native.
- John Ketzenberger, president of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute
Local partners also include Kosciusko County Community Foundation, Warsaw Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce, Grace College and OrthoWorx.
The event is facilitated by Indiana Humanities and the Bowen Center for Public Affairs at Ball State University. There is no cost to attend. Registration is available on the Warsaw-Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce website.
