Jessica Louise Gaither
Jessica Louise Gaither, 68, of Warsaw, Ind. passed away at 10:55 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at her residence.
She proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged. She graduated from St. Mary’s Nursing School and had worked as a nurse for 45 years. Most recently she worked as an LPN at Grace Village Retirement Community in Winona Lake, Ind. She was a member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association. She was a loving wife and grandmother.
Jessica was born on Feb. 16, 1944, in Medora, Ill., to Paul Shelton and Freda (Meridith) Shelton. On March 25, 1977, she was married to Eldon Ray Gaither, who survives in Warsaw.
She is also survived by a son: Aaron Vetter, Osceola, Ind; a step-son: Steve Bennett, Beaumont, Texas; four granddaughters and one step-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters and two sons.
Her visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at Warsaw Wesleyan Church, 2402 W. Old Road 30, Warsaw. Her funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at the church and officiated by Reverend Gale Janofski and Reverend L. Andrew Weaver. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Rd., Warsaw.
