Miss Kosciusko County Scholarship Program will be held Jan. 12, 2013, at Wawasee Middle School. The deadline to register is Dec. 7.

Girls between the ages of 13 to 17 (by June 1, 2013) will compete for the title of Outstanding Teen. Those who are at least a senior in high school and no older than 24 by this summer will compete for the Miss Kosciusko title. The contestants must live or attend a school in Kosciusko County.

Contestants will compete in five categories: Interview, talent (singing/dancing/monologue/play an instrument, etc.); lifestyle and fitness (teens – active wear; misses – swim suit); evening gown; and an on-stage question.

The winner of Miss Kosciusko will win a $1,000 scholarship along with receiving an evening gown and other necessities to take to state in June.

The winner of the Outstanding Teen will win a $100 scholarship and will receive other necessities to take to state in June, as well.
