A Salute to Heroes will be the theme of the 2013 Kosciusko County Community Fair, which is scheduled for July 8-13.

The theme is meant to honor anyone who someone holds as a hero. Mike Loher of the fair board said the board and planning committees are in the process of finding ways to honor heroes throughout fair week.

“We want to do like some kind of board where people can bring in pictures of their hero,” he said, explaining a hero can be anyone who has touched a life. “It could be someone’s mother.”

Plans for the 2013 fair and other events to celebrate the theme are ongoing.
