Billie R. Wireman
Billie R. Wireman, 61, of North Manchester, Ind., died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Wabash County Hospital, Wabash, Ind.
She was born at Logan, W.V., on Nov. 10, 1951, to Roosevelt and Grace M. (Spears) Spriggs. She graduated from Manchester High School in 1969 and retired from Singer Controls, North Manchester, in 2005 after 35 years service.
Billie was a member of the Freewill Bpatist Church at Sara Ann, W.V. She enjoyed motorcycle riding with her companion Roger, spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and reading. She would always check on family members and neighbors.
Surviving are a son: Shane Wireman, Fort Wayne, Ind.; two step-daughters: Patty Piper and Lisa Lothridge, both of North Manchester, Ind.; her companion: Roger Moyer, North Manchester; three brothers: Henry (Deloris) Spriggs, Peru, Ind.; Franklin (Mary) Spriggs, Cicero, Ill.; and John (Carol) Spriggs, North Manchester; a sister: Jeanette (Willie) Shepherd, Pierceton, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Friends and family may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at the funeral home. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate services and burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
