Ernest M. Harvey Jr., 86, of Warsaw, Ind., and formerly of Silver Lake, Ind., died at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at his residence.

He was born in Wabash County, Ind., on April 4, 1926, to Ernest and Edythe (Slater) Harvey Sr.

He was a member of New Life Christian Church, Warsaw.

Surviving are a sister: Pat (Archie) Caudill Jr., Silver Lake, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; his stepfather: Paul H. Smith; and a nephew: Tom Caudill.

Friends and family may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at McKee Mortuary, 1401 SR 114 W., North Manchester, Ind. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor John B. Lowe. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
