Hubner Headed To Saint Francis
WARSAW – Warsaw Community High School’s Chloe Hubner has announced the decision to attend Saint Francis in the fall of 2013 and the senior volleyball standout has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for the Cougars.
Hubner was an instrumental figure for coach Mike Howard’s squad over the past four seasons. This year, the All-Northern Lakes Conference selection helped lead Warsaw to an impressive 27-6 record and a perfect 7-0 mark in conference play.
Hubner, a two-time All-NLC selection, was also twice named to the Northeast Indiana All-Area squad and helped the Tigers to a 53-13 record over the past two seasons.
The senior setter has not only been a standout for the Tigers on the volleyball court, she has also done exceptionally well in the classroom – earning an impressive 9.98 GPA on a 12-point scale and is in the top quarter of her graduating class. She is the daughter of Terri and Chris Huber, and granddaughter of Bill and Vickie Hubner and Gary and Ruth Harmon.
Hubner will compete for the Lady Cougars and coach Fabiana Shields while majoring in Exercise Science Physical Therapy.
