Four Arrested For Daytime Burglary
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested two adults and two juveniles who were allegedly involved in a recent daytime home burglary.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Detectives had staked out a residence at 9732 Excalibur Place, Cromwell, this morning in an attempt to locate a possible burglary suspect. Officers confronted a female leaving the residence who was identified as Samantha Jo Rash, 18, 9794 Excalibur Place, Cromwell. Rash led officers back to the residence where they located Stephen Dennis Possell, 18, Syracuse.
Both subjects were taken to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department where they provided information implicating their involvement in a day-time burglary of Possell’s parents residence on Dec. 14, in the Fox Run Addition of Syracuse.
Possell, who had no longer been living with his parents, had entered into the home along with Rash and two other male juveniles and stole various items including an Apple iPad, television, Blue Ray recorder and an iPod. Possell then pawned the items in Fort Wayne and was visually recorded during his transaction.
Possell and Rash are both preliminarily being charged with felony burglary and felony theft according to the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. They both have individual bonds of $10,000.
Information related to the two juveniles involvement is currently being forwarded to the Kosciusko County Probation Department.
