KLAS Endowment Fund Established
The Kosciusko Lakes and Streams Endowment Fund was recently created at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation.
The endowment fund will provide KLAS with a stream of annual income to help them in their efforts to collect and analyze local lakes and streams data, provide water education, improve and protect local waters, and train college students for careers in science and teaching.
KLAS is a community-based research center at Grace College focused on applied research, educational outreach and advocacy aimed at properly stewarding Kosciusko County’s lakes and streams.
“We are excited to be partnering with the community foundation,” said KLAS Director Dr. Nate Bosch. “This fund allows KLAS to have more financial stability while working on sustainability of our great local water resources.”
Gifts to benefit the KLAS Endowment Fund can be made to Kosciusko County Community Foundation, 102 E. Market St., Warsaw, IN 46580 or online at www.kcfoundation.org/donate.
