Linda Mae Miller
Linda Mae Miller, 84, of Nappanee, Ind., died at 4:40 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 2, at LuAnn Nursing Home, where she had resided the last 12 years.
She was born June 18, 1928, in Marshall County to David J. and Barbara (Hochsteter) Miller. Miss Miller was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
Surviving are brothers: Sylvanus (Mary) Miller, Nappanee; Homer L. (Frieda) Miller, Nappanee; Lester D. (Mary Esther) Miller, Middlebury, Ind.; sisters: Clara (Lamar) Hershberger, Nappanee; Verba (Lonnie) Slabaugh, Nappanee; brother-in-law: Harvey M. Miller, Nappanee; and sister-in-laws, Norma Miller, Nappanee; Etta Fern (Dan) Miller-Gingerich, Bellfountain, Ohio; She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Gilbert D., Harley D., and David Jr. Miller; and sisters: infant Lovina Miller and Leona Miller.
Visitation will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, and all day Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Ernie Whetstone residence located at 2141 Beech Rd., Nappanee. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 6, at the Jerry Kuhns Residence located at 2641 Beech Rd., Bremen, Ind. Officiating will be Bishop Eddie Ray Borkholder and Home Ministry of the Old Order Amish Church. Pallbearers will be Homer Lee Miller Jr., Norman, Carl, and Leon Miller, James and Kenneth Slabaugh. Burial will be held in Weldy Cemetery.
