Parrett Powers Tigers In Pool
WARSAW – Jayden Parrett turned in a big night of performances Tuesday to lead the Warsaw boys swim team past Culver Academy.
Parrett won a pair of individual events and swam on two winning relay teams as the host Tigers posted a 120-65 win.
Parrett won both the 50 freestyle and 100 backstroke races as Warsaw improved to 10-1 on the season with the dominating win. Parrett also teamed with Spencer Davidson, Caleb Snyder and Matt Wildman to win the 200 medley relay race. The foursome of Parrett, Davidson, Andrew Thrasher and Josh Miller won the 400 freestyle relay event.
Zach Taylor also notched a pair of first-place finishes for coach Nate Long’s talented Tiger team. Taylor won both the 200 IM and the 500 freestyle events for the Tigers.
Also winning for Warsaw were Thrasher in the 200 freestyle, Davidson in the 100 butterfly and Dean Katris in the one-meter diving competition.
The Tigers also won the 200 freestyle relay event as Thrasher, Wildman, Ethan Cook and Mac Pelo were victorious.
Warsaw hosts Bremen Thursday night.
